Many of you know that in the past, merit awards have been given to students at graduation. Before, teachers nominated students, and then the administration chose the winners.
We're going to try a new way! This session, we're asking that the students nominate other students for awards. These awards will be given at the graduation. This is your chance to acknowledge other students who help you learn or make the classroom a better place.
We will also add a "Student Choice" award for teachers and administrators. As a group, you will choose 1 teacher or administrator who helps make ELS a better place for you.
The first step is choosing categories. We will brainstorm for category ideas together. Once we have a list, you will be able to vote on which category you want to have for your level band this session.
